About Shady
Shady comes to the Real Estate industry with extensive experience in project management and educational programs design for the federal government. Shady realized his passion for real estate back in 2018 when he and his beautiful wife decided to purchase their first home in the District. Being the go-getter and lifelong learner that he is, he wanted to use this opportunity to explore a new industry, as well as add an extra layer of competitiveness to it all. He later questioned that decision, given the high expectations that his very first client, his wife, had for him. Long story short, he was able to win his first (and favorite) client her dream home in an extremely competitive market, with a multiple offers situation, and go under contract in less than a week from the listing date. Through this experience, it became evident to Shady that his solid interpersonal and active listening skills, negotiation tactics, and unique ability to build rapport all align perfectly with the real estate industry.
For Shady, real estate provides him the pleasure of having a positive impact on his clients through expertly and accurate information and guidance through one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions that one can make in life. He envisions his relationships with each client as a lifelong one, not just a transactional one that ends on closing day. Throughout the years, not only did Shady help his clients with selling or buying their home/s, but also provided recommendations/connections for contractors, handymen when that pipe unexpectedly burst after a long work day, or providing constant updates about neighborhoods and trends in his client’s areas. Shady always tells his new clients “my goal is to bring only positive feelings and good vibes everytime my name comes up in a conversation, 1,5, or 10 years from now. ” In his spare time, you can find Shady exploring a new fried chicken spot in the DMV, gardening in his backyard, or sparring at the gym.
